The Bookstore Underground was created by a Metro student to give other Auraria students an alternative to purchasing their textbooks at the Bookstore. His goal was to find the cheapest way to get textbooks, and offer the information to other students free of charge
To do this, he first created a forum where students could buy and sell their textbooks directly to other students, bypassing the campus bookstore all together. Next, he partnered with Amazon.com and other online retailers who allow students nationwide to sell their used textbooks online. Then, he partnered with textbook rental companies like Chegg.com and others to get you the best deal when renting your textbooks.
And now, the next generation of textbook rentals is the eTextbook. Simply download the entire textbook to your iPhone, Droid, iPad, or other smart device and forget carrying heavy books ever again! It's like a dream come true.!
